I recommend the visit in the first weekend of July, when the Hita Medieval Festival, declared of National Tourist Interest is celebrated. The entire population is dressed as medieval times and celebrate market, jousting of knights and a theatre performance at night in the main square. Since 2016 is included in website "The Most Beautifull Villages of Spain".

 

But in Hita we can visit more, its peculiar heritage, such as the "bodego" a traditional cave house in the mountain, its church of Saint John or the house-museum of Arcipreste, one of the most important medieval writers of Spain.

 

This town can be visited in half a day, can be reconciled with other locations including:

-. Black Architecture. combining it with the valley of MAJAELRAYO
